David makes another happy return

briar boyceUncategorized

The Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation started the day on a happy note with a gift of $100 from David Hepburn on behalf of his Many Happy Returns initiative. David’s family collected the empty wine bottles after the Uncork Canada wine tasting event at the Crystal Palace in June and donated the proceeds to the Hospital Foundation. The funds will be directed toward the Foundation’s current Picture of Health Campaign. This campaign focuses on securing medical equipment for most of the departments at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital at a cost of $250,000. Again, the Foundation is asking for public support and David has answered that call.

This is David’s fourth donation to the Hospital Foundation and is approaching his 30th donation to charitable causes in Prince Edward County. David, who has intellectual exceptionalities regularly collects beer and liquor bottles and returns them to the Rotary bottle depot in Wellington.

If you are hosting a party or have refundable bottles hanging around waiting to be returned, David and his family are available for pickups by contacting hep.david@gmail.com or by calling 613-968-0181. The funds raised through David’s bottle returns are donated to worthy projects in Prince Edward County.
