The Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation donor wall pays homage to the geographic beauty of Prince Edward County’s rich and vibrant culture. This is a lasting way to say thank you to all donors who have given a total of $5,000 or more to the PECMH Foundation since 1999. Donors who have cumulatively given between $1,000 and $4,999 are recognized on the LED screen.
Mrs. Jeanne McLellan points to the recognition plate made in memory of her late husband, Robert.
Name plates affixed to the wall recognize a donor’s accumulated lifetime giving since 1999, to the present and into the future. Because the recognition is cumulative, it offers donors the opportunity to move up through different categories.
Plaques may be in the names of individuals, families, service organizations, foundations or companies. Plaques may also be made in honour of an individual or a named endowment fund. The donor wall is a lasting legacy and expression of donor loyalty towards the Foundation, hospital staff and volunteers.
Annually, the donor wall is updated to include those donors whose cumulative donations qualify them for inclusion on the wall or for a change in category. No specific donation amount is associated with any name appearing on the wall.
