Doug retired in Toronto after a 30-year career with (the former) Ontario Hydro. He then spent 8 years as an energy consultant providing technical writing and project management services to a number of corporate clients in the Toronto area.

Doug moved with his wife Kimberley to Prince Edward County in 2009, where they’ve been volunteer participants in groups such as the Wellington Community Supper, Quinte Symphony, PEC Syria, the Festival Players and Hastings Prince Edward United Way.
