Gottfried Boehringer

Gottfried Boehringer is the former proprietor and CEO of Stonemill Bakehouse. His connection to the County goes back 25 years when he first sailed into Waupoos. In 2010, he and his wife Petra purchased a farm there. He started to grow rye and spelt for his bakery, creating the Prince Edward County Rye bread that is now sold throughout Ontario in Sobeys. Gottfried realized the need, first-hand, for having a hospital in our community and he wanted to contribute to the fundraising effort, making the new build a reality.
