Susan Quaiff

Susan is a lifelong resident of Prince Edward County married to her husband Robert for 46 years. She is truly blessed to be the mom of three grown children and eight grandchildren all living in Prince Edward County.

Susan worked in child care in some capacity her whole life. She has been fortunate to retire from her professional career after 32 years as a Registered Early Childhood Educator.

Susan has volunteered in many different ways and been part of many community planning tables for 40 years. She championed a campaign locally in which 500 individuals joined the national bone marrow bank in support of a local child with leukemia. She was nominated citizen of the year. She was a council member for the South East Health Network. She was appointed the Early Years Coordinator for Hastings and Prince Edward that brought Early Years programs and funding to our community. She fundraised for the local children’s splash pad. Susan was the chair for the first Safety and Well Being plan for Prince Edward County.

Susan is pleased to turn her focus as a retired volunteer to such a great entity in our community - the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
