The Leo Finnegan Distinguished Service Award (LFDSA) honours an individual or organization that demonstrates outstanding volunteer effort to advance the role and service of the PECMHF. The accomplishments can include philanthropic leadership, organizational leadership, community support development, fundraising, stewardship of donors and public awareness efforts that contribute to the health of the people of Prince Edward County (PEC).
Recipients of this prestigious award will have made a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of our community as a result of their sustained volunteerism and leadership.

Leo Finnegan was presented with the inaugural Leo Finnegan Distinguished Service Award at a ceremony held at the Regent Theatre on March 31, 2022.
The Leo Finnegan Distinguished Service Award, named for its inaugural recipient, Leo Finnegan, recognizes individuals or organizations who, through their ongoing commitment, outstanding contributions, and service have demonstrated dedication to, and support of, the vision, mission, and strategic imperatives and priorities of the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation (PECMHF).
