Volunteers are essential to the comfort of patients and visitors to our County hospital.

Volunteer engagement at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital (PECMH) through the work of our hospital auxiliary includes roles that augment patient care, support and appreciate hospital staff and raise funds for the purchase of medical equipment and non-medical hospital needs such as patient room furniture.

While Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation (PECMHF) and the Auxiliary share a common goal of supporting our local hospital, our work is different. Among the organizations they support through financial gifts is the foundation. Their gifts combined with others from the community help us meet our financial goals to purchase priority medical equipment for the hospital.
