Lisa Lindsay had a summer several years ago that would change her life forever. This is Lisa's story of exceptional care at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital.
Murray Lupenette lives and works in Prince Edward County. We are proud to share his story of receiving lifesaving care not once but twice.
Aleks and Amy Ninkovic live and work in Prince Edward County. Many may know them as part of the County Guys Real Estate Group. They believe having care close to home is everything.
Donors and donations are at the core of the foundation’s ability to help keep our County hospital one of the best rural hospitals in Ontario. As soon as a visitor in need of care passes through the doors of our hospital, they’ll know they are in a place where they’ll receive the best care possible.
That’s why every dollar counts, and every dollar makes a difference.
Approximately 46,500 patient visitors pass through the hospital’s doors annually. Our health care professionals treat over 22,974 patients in the Emergency Department alone. Close to 922 people are admitted annually for inpatient care, many for acute medical situations such as pneumonia and heart attacks.

Equipment Requirements
Medical equipment is expensive and has a short lifespan of five to 10 years. Unlike many operating costs, equipment is not funded by the government; it is expected that the community finance the replacement of medical equipment and building redevelopment through the work of hospital foundations. This is why
support from our donors is so important.
Below is a list of equipment the PECMH Foundation is fundraising for. As PECMHF’s equipment list is frequently adjusted, we encourage you to reach out to us with any questions pertaining to this year's equipment priorities.
