Meet Our Donors
Our Strength Comes from Building Partnerships
The foundation’s goal is to build partnerships across The County and beyond with County residents, businesses and industry, service organizations, social clubs, faith-based groups, youth, visitors and others who will work with us to meet the needs of our fundraising endeavours. Supporting and investing in our hospital in this central role cannot be managed alone; it can only succeed through the strength of coming together as community partners.
In one way or another, donors touch, and have an impact on, every person using, working in or visiting our hospital. Donors are essential to the care patients receive.
Willowlee Sod Farms Ltd. names Mental Health Examination Room
The spirit of care inspired the team at Willowlee to support the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital (PECMH) Foundation by investing in the Mental Health Examination Room in the new hospital. The room will bear Willowlee’s name in recognition of their generosity, and it will serve as a place of calm and care for those facing some of life’s most difficult moments.

For Aleks and Amy Ninkovic having care close to home is everything
With five generations of family rooted here, the County has always been part of their story. But it was through unimaginable loss — the passing of their son Luke from leukemia — that their understanding of community, care, and what truly matters was forever changed.
In those hardest moments, one thing became clear: where you receive care matters. Being close to home matters. Being surrounded by community matters.

A Brother’s Life and Legacy Remembered
Cancer takes the lives of many people every day, and in May of 2019, lung cancer took Mark Campbell at the age of 59.
Mark will not get to see Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital rebuilt, but he was a big advocate for it. Because of this, his family and friends continue to help the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation Back the Build.

The Halsall Family
The desire to inspire others and help ensure access to health care remains close to home is what motivated a $150,000 gift from the Halsall family of Waupoos. The gift will help build and equip the new Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital (PECMH) with environmental sustainability enhancements.
