Nancy Parks, Campaign Chairperson

Nancy Parks , is the former and first Executive Director for Hospice Prince Edward and established the Hospice Prince Edward Foundation, along with the first provincial-funded rural residential hospice located in Prince Edward County. Nancy's community involvement in PEC has included numerous non-profit and charitable organizations locally, regionally, and provincially. She was on the Site & Design Committee and Fundraising Committee for the new Wellington & District Community Centre, instrumental in creating the first Big Brothers/Big Sisters of PEC, the Wellington & District Figure Skating Club, a Board Member of 99.3 Community Radio and Area Development committee with the PEC Community Development Corp. Nancy was an Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant Review Team member for Eastern Ontario from 2017 to 2023. Nancy's career spanned many provincial government agencies, Community Visions & Networking, the PEC Children's Aid Society, and a skating instructor. Nancy and her husband Gary currently own and operate Parksvue Farms and "Lilac Shores," a vacation rental property. They have two grown children, Kolby and Krisha.
