Sally Cowan, BScN

Sally Cowan recently retired as a Registered Nurse following more than 40 years of nursing experience. After graduation from Queen’s University in Kingston, she was employed at the Kingston General Hospital, initially as Teaching Master at the School of Nursing and then as a general duty nurse. Sally and her family moved to Prince Edward County in 1973 where she continued her nursing career at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital in various roles beginning as a general duty bedside nurse and then as Site Administrator. Sally’s most recent employment was with the Prince Edward Family Health Team where she utilized the expertise gained during her years of nursing as Clinical Services Coordinator. In retirement, Sally volunteers with Food to Share and St Philip’s Anglican Church, Milford, and takes great pleasure in attending her grandchildren’s sports events.
